WORKSHOP REGISTRATION
Our registration procedure is a bit different than you might expect - just like the rest of the Festival - so please read carefully.
1. When registering for the workshop/s you can use the booking form at the bottom of this page. If you are interested in more than one workshop, please check the SCHEDULEthat they are not running at the same time.
For course information you can contact either:
(a) Carol ( 07 3410 7257), or
(b) The friendly girls at the Desk at the Arts Centre (07 3408 9288 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday to Sunday), who will relay any messages to Carol.
(c) The WORKSHOPS page on this site will have information on which courses are full, but this might not be completely up to date.
2. After we check whether places are still available in your chosen workshop(s), we will sign you up, or put you on the waiting list for those that are full. It might take a few days for us to get back to you with an invoice number. If you are on the waiting list, we will email or phone you if a place becomes vacant.
3. Full payment must be paid within 7 days of receipt of your invoice to retain your place.
You can do this in several ways:
a) Over the internet using direct credit to our bank account. You should use the bank account details noted on your invoice. Use the word "FESTIVAL" and your invoice number as the specific reference. Please send us an email or phone the Arts Centre (07 3408 9288) when you make the transfer. Your booking will be confirmed as soon as payment has been received. We will then send you an email confirming your payment and registration. We are able to accept credit card payments via the internet, through PayPal. (http://www.paypal.com.au to create an account).
b) By post to Bribie Island Arts Festival, PO Box 71, Bribie Island 4507. We accept cheque, money orders, or credit card payment using the tear-off slip on your invoice. Please remember to include your tear-off slip with your payment. Your registration will be confirmed by email.
c) At the Bribie Island Art Centre front desk. Desk staff can accept cash, cheques, or credit card, and will give you a receipt. Desk staff can also accept credit card payments over the telephone.
How to Register
Registrations will be acceptable on-line, by post, or direct at the Art Centre, places will only be held on full payment of the workshop fee. On booking you will be given a Booking Number for payment and enquiries.

Refund Policy
• Refund is only available where personal circumstances have changed.
• Payment will be returned if the workshop is overbooked.
• No refund for unadvised non-attendance to the workshop.
You will also receive a form listing all the other activities we are holding during the Festival and asking which ones you are interested in being part of. This may come after your registration, as we are opening registration before arrangements for other activities have been completed. (This form will also be available online.)
There is just one more thing for you to do! If you have friends who might be interested in the Festival, please let them know about it, and the exciting tutors who will be here, so you can arrange to come together.
Note that the Festival has a generous refund policy. If you have to cancel before June 1, you will obtain an unconditional 100% refund. After June 1, if we can fill your place from the waiting list you will also receive a 100% refund. If your place cannot be filled from the waiting list after June 1, you will receive a 50% refund.
We hope to see you and your friends at the Festival!!
All workshops cost $75.00 a day, except for the Ukulele Classes (see below). This $75.00 covers tuition plus morning teas and lunch. Some classes will have specific requirements for you to bring to class while others may have a charge for special items, such as a “model”! The Ukulele Classes cost $75.00 for the two lessons (on separate days) and includes morning or afternoon teas plus a Ukulele Kit for you to use and keep (Ukulele, plus tuner and instruction book).
As well as workshops each day there will be a significant programme for everyone to enjoy. It will include an extensive music programme, The Matthew Flinders Art Competition and Exhibition to view, artists at work in the courtyards, an opening event, the Gala Open Day Market, interesting projects to become involved with and of course great food to eat all day for the visitors. There will be other exciting events planned away from the Centre as well. Details will appear in April 2012 on the web and in the press.
