JENNI KELLY

Jenni is basically self-taught, currently living at Murrumba Downs, North Brisbane. She is inspired by nature, achieving a realistic expression in her creative freestyle painting, leaving the viewer free to exercise their own imagination. These paintings have an appealing sense of colour, freedom and movement. Jenni has exhibited in the UK, Hong Kong and throughout Queensland. Her work is continually on display at the Tina Cooper Gallery at Eumundi and Artnuvo Gallery at Buderim. Twenty-one of Jenni's paintings are hanging throughout the Holy Spirit Hospital at Chermside, Brisbane. |
Jenni will be holding two identical workshops due to popular demand, one before and one during the festival. This is detailed below.

Both workshop JK1 and JK2 are fully booked, but please still register for these workshops as you will be put on the waiting list. We will contact you if a place becomes vacant. If we have sufficient interest, we will try to arrange another workshop after the Festival.
Workshop JK2 is identical and can be booked in place of JK1. It is being held in the week before the festival (see below). |
This unorthodox approach to acrylic painting will bring out the creative you. We will be experimenting with a wide range of techniques. Be prepared to scrape, spray, throw, roll and glaze paint, in other words ‘play with paint!'
Students will leave with a newfound creative confidence. This work is described as abstract to impressionistic, fun and free. You can expect demonstrations plus individual guidance each day.
All levels and ages welcome, come in right brain mode!!
