Larry Maykin owns and operates Lazy Larry Woodworks in Caboolture, Queensland and has been working with wood for over 14 years. His association with Torque Workcentres started in May of 2009 when he bought his first machine.
He had been aware of YAS Engineering, the Slabmaster and the Router Master but it was not until he saw the Torque Workcentre being demonstrated at the Maleny Wood Expo that he realised his need for such a machine. Since then he has travelled all over Australia demonstrating the features and capabilities of the Torque Workcentre.
He was also involved with the first demonstration videos made by the company and has made several videos of his own, showcasing the Torque Workcentre.
Active on several forums, he has his own blog site where he shows just how he makes some of his creations. He has also taught woodworking classes online, been interviewed on lumberjocks.com and featured on Stu's Shed.
Larry will be holding two workshops during the festival.
