
Mignon is a Sydney artist living and working from her Northern Beaches home and studio. Mignon studied at North Sydney Technical College and attended the Diploma Course in Design at the National Art School in Sydney. After which she worked in advertising as a commercial artist.
During her thirty-year career in the arts, Mignon has remained a prolific artist submitting work for mass media publications, teaching and conducting workshops state wide.
Mignon works in a broad media of watercolour, acrylic, oil, rust oxidisation, patinas and encaustic. Inspired by nature her passion is colour and texture. Her work continues to evolve and engage the viewer with new images and in a manner of describing the subjects she presents.
Mignon’s work is represented in various galleries, private and corporate collections in England, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
Mignon will be holding two workshops during the festival.

MP9 - Stretch your imagination with new and diverse works of art; learn a new advanced method of rust/patina.
Working from life photographic, reference and your imagination.
MP10 - Learn how to make your colour pop by using various methods and techniques , simple yet effective application of rich colour and bold textures will be explored.
